Project description

From 2012, together with Great Lakes Consortium for International Training and Development, CeRe selects Romanian fellows for the ”Sustaining Civic Participation in Minority Communities” exchange program.

The aim of the program is to provide participants with an opportunity for professional development and learning of new methods of citizens’ involvement in decision-making processes affecting minority / disadvantaged groups (Roma, disabled people, LGBTQ, immigrants, refugees, young people, etc.).

During the program, the selected people spend 6 weeks in the United States of America, where they work within community organizations, participate in workshops and study visits.
