Project title: „Fetele își spun părerea”- “Girls Speak Out”

Short project description:

This project addresses several important aspects that affect both the wider community and the personal lives of girls. Our goal is to create a safe, open, and inclusive space for the girls in our group, as well as for new girls who will join us along the way.

Through this initiative, we want to offer girls a sense of safety and trust—an environment where they feel free to share their dreams, struggles, and fears, especially those they often hide from their communities or even from close family and friends out of fear of judgment or lack of support.

Having access to a dedicated center gives us the opportunity to meet safely and regularly for the workshops we plan to co-create with the girls. These sessions will be built around open, creative discussions and, most importantly, guided by an expert who will teach us how to express ourselves through art. The girls’ personal experiences will inspire the creative workshops—leading to poems, songs, visual art, and an exhibition that will all be showcased at the community festival “Girls Speak Out”, to be held on the football field of School No. 1 in Valea Seacă. Through this event, we hope that parents, teachers, and peers will gain a better understanding of the challenges and negative experiences many girls in our community face.
